How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open your account page and choose Manage subscription. You can cancel, change your card or download invoices there. Cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the period you've paid for.

Signing in on a sixth device signs out the oldest one automatically. To sign a device out yourself, use the Devices screen in the app.

Do you keep logs?

No. We don't record the sites you visit, the apps you use or the traffic you send. We keep only what a subscription needs: your email address, your plan and the devices signed in.

What does my ISP see?

One encrypted connection to a Overleap server, carrying an ordinary-looking HTTPS session. Encrypted Client Hello hides even the server name in the handshake, so there is nothing that identifies a VPN and nothing about where you actually go.

Is using a VPN legal in the UK?

Yes. Using a VPN is legal in the UK and across Europe. What you do online is still subject to the law.

Is it safe on public Wi-Fi?

Yes. Everything your device sends is encrypted before it leaves, so the café, hotel or train network only sees encrypted traffic, and nobody on the same network can read or tamper with it.

Does it work when I travel?

Yes. Overleap's connection looks like ordinary web traffic, so it keeps working in places where VPNs are usually blocked. Your subscription covers every location, and the app picks the fastest route wherever you are.

What is Encrypted Client Hello?

The part of a TLS handshake that normally reveals which server you're connecting to, encrypted. Most VPNs still send that name in the clear, which is what networks use to spot and block them. Overleap encrypts it.

Can I run my own server?

Yes. The server, k2s, is open source and installs with one command. Add your own node in the app and Overleap becomes just the client.
